Are you looking for a swimming pool or sauna in the Lüneburger Heide?
At the Hotel Zur Heidschnucke in Asendorf, you can enjoy both – even as a day guest from the surrounding area! You don't have to stay overnight with us to use our wellness area.
Treat yourself to some time out close to home: swim a few laps in the heated indoor pool, relax in the Finnish sauna, or enjoy the gentle warmth of our bio sauna with color light therapy.
Our heated indoor pool (7 x 10 meters) invites you to swim every day. Whether you want to swim laps or just relax in the warm water, you've come to the right place. Our wellness massage tub with 256 underwater jets provides additional relaxation after swimming.

Please note: Due to swimming groups/water aerobics, the swimming pool area will be closed at the following times:
Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – approx. 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Our saunas are available for your use during these times. We appreciate your understanding.
Sauna in the Lüneburger Heide Two saunas for your well-being
Our sauna area offers two different saunas:
Finnish sauna (90°): Classic sauna experience with intense heat for deep relaxation and detoxification. Ideal for experienced sauna users.
Bio sauna with color light therapy (65°): Gentler temperatures—perfect for sauna beginners or anyone who prefers a milder experience.
After your sauna session, the refreshing splash shower provides the perfect change of temperature. You can then relax and recharge your batteries in our spacious relaxation area. Refreshments are available for you at the vitality bar.
Sauna opening hours (from March 1, 2026):
-Bio sauna (65°): daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
-Finnish sauna (90°): daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
